Why coaching?

Lifegiver Collective was founded by Corie Weathers, a clinical therapist and coach, who believed in a better way to address the basic needs of humanity than through the medical system.

While the traditional medical model can help those who need a diagnosis, medication management, and treatment, she saw that most individuals and families who entered therapy were looking for life and work stress management, hope for their marriage, help with parenting, and relief from loneliness.

Historically, communities and faith-based institutions have met these needs, restoring hope through human connection. In a world that continues to face polarization, isolation, and a provider shortage, we believe the original model of healing through connection is still the most powerful approach.

What makes Lifegiver Collective different?

We believe that getting help should not be a luxury service.

No diagnosis

We believe that you shouldn't be given an unwarranted diagnosis to get the help you need.

Provider support

We believe providers do their best work when they are not in a constant ethical dilemma of diagnosing and fighting insurance companies for compensation.

Affordable options

We compensate coaches for their experience through a tiered payment system that allows you to pay what you can and give back if you can. Then, we rely on partners and sponsors to fill the gaps so we can do more.

Referrals

When coaching is not the right fit, we provide referrals for counseling through our affiliate collective of competent clinical providers.

Currently Serving

We are always adding specialities in various populations, topics, and interests based on the experience of our coaches and needs of the community. Check back often or reach out and let us know what you are looking for.
